Obsidian is volcanic silica glass. It’s the result of volcanic lava coming in contact with water. It is considered a semiprecious stone. It is used for ornamental and healing purposes. Color of Obsidian ranges from dark green to dark brown and black. streaks may appear and are called “the eye of the rock”. Some have it; some don’t. This is normal. This specimen has one single pointy side and one round side. It is use to massage fingers as well as the body. It can also be display as an ornament. Images are for illustration only.
